Entries are limited to the top 100 classic cars in southern Africa, and a class win at Concours South Africa adds real value to winning entries.
The fourth Concours South Africa returns to Johannesburg’s Steyn City Parkland Residence for the second consecutive year from 30 August to 1 September 2019, coinciding with Spring Day celebrations.
A bespoke range of hospitality packages are available for the duration of the classic weekend extravaganza
Giuseppe Plumari, CEO of Steyn City Properties comments, “We are delighted to be the host venue once again for this timeless, classic automobile event, where horsepower and elegance merge. We are also excited to showcase a new phase of our parkland residence, which we’ve recently completed the bulk infrastructure. This includes the roads and services, and the extenuation of our parklands and pathways which will provide spectators with another perspective of this magnificent 2000 acre setting and showcase the luxury lifestyle that we have on offer.”
Concours South Africa 2019 promises to be the ultimate celebration of classic and vintage automobiles; a deluxe showcase of the automotive world’s great creations. This year’s event promises to be even more exciting than usual, with a one-of-a-kind world’s automotive leading lights from Europe rumoured to be making a special appearance.

The event is just as exciting for those who are not competing, but who wish to take in the spectacle as VIP guests. “From day one, Concours has always been about more than just the cars. The beautiful vehicles are the perfect backdrop but it’s the high-end socialising and networking that sets Concours apart. This is underlined by the fact that the country’s oldest wealth managers, Nedbank Private Wealth, have been a hospitality fixture since that first event at Sun City back in 2016,” says Concours co-organiser and Master of Ceremonies, Greg Marucchi.
“Indeed”, adds co-founder Paul Kennard, “Concours South Africa is the perfect venue for marrying business with pleasure. Moreover, the hospitality areas will underline the elegance that gives the event its special garden party appeal as we invite the ladies to don their favourite spring hat on the Sunday,”
A bespoke range of hospitality packages are available for the duration of the classic weekend extravaganza. These range from branded corporate pavilions for up to 100 daily VIP guests through to tailored individual day passes from R350.
Please note that tickets for Concours South Africa will not be available for sale at the Steyn City gatehouses but are available for purchase online before 27th August 2019.
