• Production in and outside Japan declined 31.8% and 14.2% from a year-earlier, respectively.

o Production in China surpassed year-earlier results by 16.3%, setting a record for the April – March period.

Minivehicle sales in Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 14.1%. Sales outside Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 58.5%.

April 2020 - March 2021

Global sales for the April 2020-March 2021 period declined 12.4% from the year earlier.

Sales in Japan including minivehicles declined 10.6% from the year earlier. Minivehicle sales in Japan surpassed year-earlier results by 1.3%.

Sales outside Japan declined 12.6% from the year earlier. Sales in China surpassed year-earlier results by 13.7%, setting a record for the April – March period.
